Our Internet Pharmacy is owned and operated by OurLocalPharmacy.com Limited - a family business run by husband and wife Kamal and Kapila Mahasuria with the support of a dedicated and enthusiastic team. This allows
us to give you the personal service that you deserve and expect.
As well as the online business, Kamal and Kapila also run
a Community Pharmacy which serves the population of Maidenhead in Berkshire.
We understand the pressures facing Community Pharmacy and also understand what a Community Pharmacy needs from the online part of its business. This allows us to deliver a product and service that will be tailor made for your needs.
The Team:
Kamal Mahasuria BSc MRPharmS
The team is lead by Community Pharmacist and part time computer nerd Kamal Mahasuria. Kamal's knowledge of Community Pharmacy combined with his knowledge of web design has enabled us to develop a service that will meet the needs of Community Pharmacy.
Kapila Mahasuria BA (Hons)
Kapila has many years of retailing experience, both in Community Pharmacy and in non-pharmacy retailers. She is also a fully trained Beauty Therapist. Kapila is a big fan of online shopping and knows what to expect when she shops online. She makes sure that our websites not only meet but exceed her high expectations. This ensures that your customers will have a positive experience when using your website. Kapila is also responsible for online merchandising and graphic design and also provides expert advice on the the Beauty and Skin Care products.
Roger Towersey BSc (Hons)
Roger is our Online Business Development Manager. Roger works closely with Kamal to maintain and develop our websites. Roger has several years of Community Pharmacy experience having worked as a Medicines Counter Assistant and also a Dispensary Assistant. This experience combined with Roger's web design expertise ensures that as well as looking good and being technically elegant, our websites are customer friendly and will allow you to grow your business.
Julie Forman and Karen Teeder
Julie and Karen are responsible for Distribution and Customer Service. As with all of our team Julie and Karen's background is in Community Pharmacy. Both have spent several years working as Medicines Counter Assistants and Dispensary Assistants. Julie and Karen ensure that all orders received are dispatched in a timely manner and they also deal with customer queries whether received by email or by telephone. Therefore you can rest assured that your customers are receiving the best possible service.
