Would it be better for me to build my own website and do my own distribution?To build your own eCommerce site will cost you close to £20,000 and you can expect to pay around £200 per month for the hosting. It will also be around 2 months before your website is finished. Also we believe that the finished product will not be as good as what we can offer you. Your stock holding will also increase as will your staffing and warehousing costs. Your staff will require training to be able to maintain the site and to fullfil orders. To break even you will need to turnover around £25,000 to £30,000 per month. To achieve this level of turnover will require significant further investment in terms of time and money for marketing. Is there a risk that my customers will buy online rather than buy in store?The risk is that if your customers choose to buy online and you do not have an eCommerce website then your customers will have to shop elsewhere. If they choose to do their online shopping at another store then how long will it be before they move all of their custom permanently to the competition? The fact is that your customers are already shopping online. By having a good quality eCommerce website then at least your customers can choose to shop with you rather than with the competition. Is there a minimum term contract?We are so confident that you will be totally satisfied with our service that there is no minimum contract. Your agreement can be terminated at anytime by giving one months' notice. Control of your domain will be transferred back to you.
